Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the Swift Current Area
Environment Canada has issues a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the Swift Current region. Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain. A cold front will push eastward across southern Saskatchewan this afternoon and set off thunderstorms, some of which could become severe. Thunderstorms will weaken as they approach the Manitoba border late this evening. Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. is calling for Sunshine Today with a risk of a Thunderstorm and 24. Partly Cloudy Tonight and 10 with a chance of Thundershowers. Cloudy with Showers for Thursday and 18. Looking ahead to Friday, a High of 17 with occasional Rain. Sunshine for Saturday with a High of 20 and 21 on Sunday. Sunshine and warming up to 27 for Monday. Partly Sunny and 21 for Tuesday.
