RCMP Investigate Theft of Oil Field Equipment

Unity RCMP are asking for your assistance with the following crime. Sometime between November 5 and November 11, a high value piece of oilfield equipment known as a blow-out preventer was stolen from a Cona Resources well site in Winter, Saskatchewan. The equipment belongs to Cru Well Servicing and is valued at over $45,000.00. The equipment is very heavy and large and would have required the use of a trailer and picker truck to remove it from the site. There are no suspects at this time and the Unity RCMP are seeking assistance in identifying a suspect.
